W.D. Wells For the love of stories. When I first heard the story of Peter Pan and Wendy, I became a lover of stories. As soon as I could hold a book and understand the alphabet, I became an avid reader. When I was able to hold a pencil and put sentences together, I began my journey as a writer. Everyone (and every organization) has a story to tell—a narrative that defines and explains, inspires and motivates. Given my early-onset enchantment with words, it’s no wonder I chose to build my life and career as a professional writer and editor, specializing in results-focused public relations, marketing, and branding. The path has taken me through many interesting and formative turns, working with a variety of businesses and other organizations on hundreds of projects. It also took me through the exhausting but liberating discipline of academe. Today, my concern is to help my customers tell their stories in a compelling way. In my spare time (hah!), I’m working on the novels and screenplays that will make me fabulously rich and famous. Stay tuned. That’s my story. What’s yours?

Wendy Wells My lifelong passion for words is also expressed in my volunteer activities. Because I believe reading is the key that unlocks the doors of comprehension for children, I have served as a Big Sister in the Mecklenburg County school system. In my hometown of Orlando, I was a volunteer teacher's aide, teaching reading and writing to first grade students.
